Diet and nutrition are a larger and more important factor in people's lives than exercise alone, that's why we focus on it at Red City. We always offer information and on-going dialogue with our athletes and members but go a step further to help them get the most out of what they're fueling their bodies with. We don’t do crash diets and quick fixes, we work with people to educate and create sustainable changes for life.

Food Framework

Our 'Food Framework' is a great place to get started for members wanting to know how they should structure their eating throughout the day both for workouts as well as rest and recovery. We build a structured program for individuals based around their wants and needs both in and out of the gym.

Personal Nutritional Coaching

We like to be able establish an on-going relationship with our members to aid in building nutritional habits for life in order to lose weight, build muscle and be as healthy as possible. Working one on one with a coach allows us to tailor things for the specific needs of an individual.

In the 2002 publication “What Is Fitness?” CrossFit suggested a theoretical hierarchy for the development of an athlete.

Nutrition is the foundation of the pyramid. The quality and constituent elements of an athlete’s diet influence metabolism and therefore the molecular foundations of muscle, bone, and the nervous system. For this reason, any training system that does not consider and duly correct an athlete’s diet will be suboptimal. Long-term training depends upon a solid base of nutritional support.
