At Red City our approach to everything we do revolves around our Four Pillars of Health. Whether you're a professional athlete, seasoned CrossFitter, aspiring weightlifter or even someone who feels a little bit sick just hearing the word 'burpees' - everything comes back to four key factors: sleep, nutrition, exercise and stress.
Anybody who wants to learn how to use their body and express that through physical work is becoming a better human being. But there are demands to being a better human. In order to achieve the results you want; you need knowledge, not just hard work. You need to understand the science of your body. What to eat and how to recover. All of these things are just as important as the exercise you do.
The best way to look after yourself is to always look after your Four Pillars of Health.
Our training and our coaching offers our athletes one source to nail down this down. You don't need a PT who is essentially just a cheerleader. You don't need a physio who just fixes you AFTER you're broken. You don't need a friend applauding your deadlift when you're in a broken position herniating a disk.
You need a coach. An educator. Somebody who has pulled this all together for you so that you can get the most out of yourself rather than chasing a million different sources all with conflicting opinions.

We don't train simply for competition, we train to become better people. To find things out about ourselves and test ourselves. To put ourselves in a learning environment everyday.
We found great personal benefit through this approach as athletes ourselves, but it was even greater when we could work with others as coaches. We love education. It's what we live for. We constantly learn more and teach more and believe there is nothing better to work on than your own body.
Movement, mobility, the physical test of exercise, nutrition and sleep are the most fundamental things in life. They're what we evolved to do yet so many people manage to get these fundamentals wrong. We strive to fix the gaps athletes may have there and help those who need to create a great deal of change.
